In August of 2009, VersaTech Automation Services purchased the assets of Precision Systems, LLC, a thirteen year old automation and controls company headquartered in the New Orleans area. At that time, the acquisition of Precision Systems fit well with VersaTech’s strategic growth initiative and provided a top quality control system fabrication facility in the New Orleans area.
As a result, VersaTech added approximately 15,000 sq. ft. of office space, warehouse, shop, and climate-controlled fabrication and testing facilities.The acquisition of Precision Systems complemented VersaTech’s existing control system fabrication facilities in Houston, Texas and Dubai, UAE, as well VersaTech’s field service operation which, at that time, was based in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. The acquisition of Precision Systems augmented VersaTech’s technical staff and increased the Louisiana footprint, resulting in better service to VersaTech’s customers in the New Orleans area.
In June of 2013, VersaTech Automation Services purchased the assets and ongoing business operations formerly known as TEST Automation & Controls from, Cameron, Inc. Specifically, these were the US based operations in Harvey, LA and New Iberia, LA as well as interest in the Angolan company, TEST Angola, LDA. By leveraging TEST’s strength in the offshore Gulf of Mexico and Angolan markets, VersaTech has became one of the largest providers of integrated I&E services in the energy market.
VersaTech’s acquisition of TEST reunited a management team that has worked in the industry over the last 40 years.
